About the Role

We are looking to hire a Web Developer to work with us remotely and on occasion collaborate in our Newmarket office to build amazing applications for our clients. If you are great in a team environment, learn new things quickly, and communicate well, we want to work with you!

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop our web React/Redux web applications
  • Integrate with HTTP and WebSocket APIs
  • Test, debug, and optimize web application performance
  • Write design and technical documentation
  • Learn lots of domain-specific problems in finance and investment
  • Help our junior web developers with design and code reviews
  • Help improve our tooling, dependencies, code patterns, etc.
  • Work with QA team to ensure project meets desired objectives
  • Troubleshooting and testing sources to make sure they are vital and ensure that the content is displayed as intended
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years full stack experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience developing complex JavaScript applications
  • Minimum 3 years experience with React (+ Redux, Hooks)
  • Minimum 3 years experience with Node.js
  • Take pride in writing clean, well-documented code
  • Follow best practices whenever possible
  • Can work well as either a lead or a part of a team of strong developers
